Gobo has been a friend to Spike's since day 1. I would love to get involved in this somehow (maybe a mini-Spike's, maybe donating some items for the raffle) or at the very least attend. Anyone else plan on heading down to Santa Cruz on the 17th?

[Save Gobo] Cancer Sucks BBQ + Carnival


As most of you know, our friend Sean Keily aka DJ Gobo is currently
battling Lymphoma and Leukemia. He is undergoing treatment at Stanford and is
receiving the best care. However, this care, along with his home care,
co-payments, gas to and from the hospital, etc is very expensive. To help,
we have created the Save Gobo Committee. Our goal is to support and raise
funds for Sean as well as provide a community for his family and friends
where they can share their stories and hope. This is where I need your
help...

On Saturday, May 17th from 11:00am to 5:00pm
the Save Gobo Committee invites you to the
Cancer Sucks! BBQ and Carnival
At Friendship Gardens, Friendship Area, Harvey West Park, Harvey West
Boulevard, Santa Cruz, CA 95060

How can you help?
Run a booth (fortune telling, face painting, cake walk, cookie decorating,
freak show, anything you want!)
Donate items or services for the raffle*
Play music during the event
Come to the event and bring all your friends!
Help with setup or cleanup
Volunteer to work at a booth
Promote the event to your friends and family
Donate funds for Sean
Think positive thoughts for Sean
