Wed, September 10, 2008 - 8:32 AMSVB was a wonderful refuge on the playa. My sweetie Roxie and I visited many times over the years.
This past year we didn't get to visit together - we were so busy running the Flamethrower Shooting Gallery. I did get to visit Saturday night, before the man burned, and was happy to offer our burn platform for the Funeral Pyre.
Next year the Flamethrower Shooting Gallery is interested in trading flamethrowers for pole/cage dancers. Spike, Shadow and Stella said I should talk with Stella and Boy Chaos, which I plan to do.
May the next incarnation dig to deeper darker depths! -

Tue, September 23, 2008 - 6:51 PMI want to thank everyone for SVB over the years. I first came to Spikes in 2005. I got to meet Muse, Spike, Raven, Sueness, Vampchild, and other great people. I also got to meet Shooter and KK for the first time and I did not even know it. I do have to say it was one of only two camps I actually seeked out on my first burn. I will miss SVB. There will NEVER be anything close to it again on the Playa.
