Tue, March 18, 2008 - 6:20 PMThe sad truth of the matter is we were not able to move enough of the GoS calendars to make it feasible to do a Men of Spikes calendar. I still have more than a thousand GoS calendars sitting in my garage.
Unless we knew for sure that we can sell 500, it is not economically feasible for us to do this again. It cost roughly $3K to print the calendars, plus the cost of shooting, editing, designing, and promoting them.
Tanya put hundreds of hours into the GoS project. I would not think of asking her to put that much effort into another project.
Having said that, i would love to find a way to make another calendar happen. -
