Unearthing of the Crypt

Our first work day of the year!!!

The goals for the day are....

to clean and re-organize the crypt
de-playa-fy the sound gear
get the sound gear organized
figure out what we actually have in there...
drink some beer.

11am- till we're done
spikes crypt @ nimby
28th St and Peralta in oakland

    I can be there only if I can be back in Santa Cruz by 10:00pm. I've got a paid DJ gig on Saturdays now.

    OK, here's how it's shaping up so far....

    Diter, Zak, Dougie and his bride (woooohooo!), Belle, and I.. with the possibility of tank and gabriel showing up. Tank can be our one armed cheerleader :)

    We'll have Fat Tire on tap, we'll get one of the sound systems up and going, and just generally have a good time :)

      So wish I could be there, but I'm pulling a double-shift at the Grand National Rodeo, working with both the Tennessee Walking Horse Exhibition and the Coalition to Save the Cow Palace.

    Hi everyone... I am bummed to be missing this but my Dad's funeral is in Arizona on the same day. Work hard but have fun and I will see you at the next one.

    I can probably show up for a few hours in the afternoon, I haven't been to Nimby before. If I Mapquest 28th & Peralta will that get me close enough?

        I got locked out of my car once and told them 28th st not 28th ave. They map quested 28th ave anyway and was waiting for me in the wrong place. I have tried to map quest it before and for some reason it defaults to the Ave not the Street. Double check your directions, this is the 28th street near Paralta and Union in West Oakland near The Maze not near the Coliseum. I have heard you may need to put in Emmeryville as the city even though it is in Oakland.

        Oops I just saw it is getting canceled so just remember this for next time.

        And since we are not getting together I wanted to ask you all if you had any ideas or leads on doing a benefit, maybe in a new location, maybe in a new way. T-shirt sales never expire like calendars but I think we would need to put a call out for donations to make that happen. We are all poor right now and still have to pay off the loan taken out for the storage containers.
